Our dog April sure doesn’t like thunderstorms or fireworks. She’s thankfully not destructive, but she pants and paces and whines and shoves herself in the tightest areas she can find, the poor thing. I wish we could just explain to her that storms will not hurt her inside and that she’s safe, but alas….. dog.

Either my dog is the village idiot, or has no fear. Thundah-bumpahs have her chasing the sound around the house barking at it, as if the storm is trying to break and enter. Frenchies think they’re a fearsome beast for their actual stature! [grin]
