Haverford Day, Right at Home!
It’s the annual Haverford day (sometimes called Havertown Day), this Saturday! Yep, right in my own backyard, I’ll be hawkin’ my books and merch, along with my friend craft-master miss Jenn Solderitsch of JennySold.com, in the craft fair section of this overblown block party extravaganza! Come on our for lots of food from local restaurants, or BBQ chicken cooked up by the firehouse, listen to
multiple bands play some rockin’ tunes, and wander the endless stream of craft vendors. Come early for the parade, stay for the random street acts like fire juggling!
I’ll have my usual stock on hand: Z&F books, figurines, buttons/pendants/magnets, the new T-shirts, as well as Abby books (now in hardcover too) and buttons. Plus, prints galore!
The parade begins at 10:30am, and everything closes up at 4pm. Be there! Bring your appetite, dancin’ shoes, and hopefully some extra cash for comic-y goodness!
Next Week! The BIGGEST Comic Con of the East Coast!
…. and I’ll be there, amidst the masses! Thursday Oct. 10th – Sunday Oct. 13 is the New York Comic Con, and I’m ready to be eaten alive by the crowds of 150,000+! My pal Byron Wilkins (of 1977) and I, representing the Webcomic Alliance with our respective comics and prints, will be on the MAIN showfloor in the Small Press section, booth #1367! More details to come next week on Wednesday (including the EXCLUSIVE NYCC print I’ll be selling!), but for now, I give you the floorplan. Can you believe it– we’re are right across from MARVEL… “THE” Marvel! I may not make it out alive!
Hey dawn, I listen to Web Comic Alliance all the time and I definitely want to stop by and meet you and Byron. I’m also in Artist’s Alley at table W-6 if you happen to be roaming around there.
hey Denny! We’re looking forward to meeting you! and I hope to swing by AA sometime as well, we have lots of friends there.
