This artist might be getting wedding guest art from ME soon, he is engaged himself! Another connection made via twitter, Skar is the creator behind “Mojo”, about a man and his cat (or maybe a cat, and his man)… and their many antics together.
This one, from the suggestion “geeky groom”, royally cracked me up. It’s it is SO true of our relationship…. although, I would probably be the one tweeting at the wedding. And yes, those are our twitter account names. We’re both geeks in our own ways, whether it be comics, movie quotes, music, or sports, we’ve got it covered.

Dawn and Rick, whom the human characters in Z&F are loosely based around, are (finally) getting married after 7 years together, on November 6th, 2010. These terrific guest strips and artwork were submitted as a wedding gift by fellow webcomic creators and readers, using Dawn’s Wedding Guest Art Registry. Dawn.. erm, OKAY, I am very grateful for all the time and effort put into these awesome pieces and plan to include them in a special section of our wedding album. Thank you all SO much … for such a unique wedding experience.. and for feeding my website so I can take a much needed break!

Dawn, it was a pleasure creating this gueststrip. Especially because all the other comic artists gave their blessing in using their characters in the crowd.
I so LOVE these types of community-uniting cameo strips. Did a ton myself back in the day, need to get back on that horse again! VERY well done and Thank YOU!

Great guest art Skar. The tweeting of the entire wedding is an awesome touch, very, very cool choice. I love how you incorporated all the other characters as their wedding guests.
I’ll admit, I had a moment in between the private photo shoot and the reception, where I did in fact tweet once… probably something like “Just got hitched! Where’s my beer, dammit!?”
