I’ll give my fiancée his dignity, and admit this is totally fictitious. He’s been nothing but a help around the house and is actually picking up some landscaping side work, so he very well works harder than I do, sitting in front of a computer and typesetting nutritional panels.
I would imagine this might be the result for many unemployed depressed individuals. I also think an old internet fav, Odd Todd, may have inspired some of this as well. If you haven’t check him out, GO DO IT NOW. It’s friggin hilarious, in all it’s poorly drawn flashy movieness. Oh yeah, “mep”.
a while back before i went back to full time, my wife offered me the chnace to be a web artist. she said she’d give me one year to get it off the ground. i thought it over for a week. and before i could give my answer i was bumped back to full time. weird karma.
ha, that is odd timing. Years ago at another company, my boss cut us to 3 days a week, and I wasn’t eligible for partial unemployment. Then, magically, a HUGE profitable freelance job fell in my lap. Just enough to cover the bills until we were reinstated FT. Cool ;0)
