Next weekend, peeps! Next weekend I will be in Chicago for C2E2 Comic Con! Joining me at THE MOST FUN TABLE EVAR is Mr. Byron Wilkins of 1977, so it should be a raucous good time. For any of you lucky comic fans who are attending, please stop by our booth. I’ll have lots of good stuff on hand, including the NEW Z&F COLLECTION!

To celebrate Easter and the beginning of spring (Thank GOD), what’s better than a slew of scary-@$$ bunnies? And if you have ever been to a mall with your kids for pictures with the Easter Bunny, you know how scary they can get.

15498777.thb

Is it a rabbit? Is it a dog? A rat? Who cares, it’s scary and it wants all your EGGS!

FAIL.

16091679.thb

I guess we have reached a point where naked Easter bunnies are too risqué. There comes a time where underoos are necessary.

FAIL.

16957084.thb

*&%$, these boots are killin’ me.

FAIL.

20037463.thb

Kids, if you eat too many carrots, this is what happens. You’ll eventually morph into a bunny. With no hands.

FAIL.

20062041.thb

Oh, the birds! The BIRDS! Get ’em off! The horror! THE HORROR!

FAIL.

20917756.thb

I guess I see the need for those underoos now. Shake it, shake that booty!

FAIL.

22257065.thb

Have the give Easter Bunny Corp. credit for their technological advances. Robo-bunny clones get the work done without all the complaining about benefits and promotions.

FAIL.

22406979.thb

Cow bunnies? What, do they try to turn kids off of MILK chocolate? Eat more PEEPS!?

FAIL.

21701475.thb

AUGH!

22091097.thb

AUGHHHHHHHHH!

AUUUUGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

(no, this wasn’t on Clipart.com. It’s “Frank” from the movie “Donny Darko” Scariest. Rabbit. Ever.

C2E2Promo2

Just another friendly reminder that Byron Wilkins (of 1977 the comic Fame!) and I are gearing up for Chicago’s C2E2 Comics & Entertainment Convention! This time, this great promo was drawn by Byron himself! I’ll have “Abby’s Adventures” kids books to sell, Tshirts, postcard sketches, bookmarks, and lots of freebies! And oh yeah… I’m gonna be selling a bunch of THESE:

Book1

Of course, if you’re no where near Chicago, you can always pre-order one of these bad-boys, and after the Con I’ll ship ’em directly to ya!

Fanart: Ken from Rick the Stick

Poor Ken. He kept getting Zorphbert and Fred mixed up. And this obnoxious cartoonist chick kept calling him on it. Thus, he had to offer this fantastic piece of fanart up as an apology.

Well, no apology needed Ken! Thanks so much for this hilarious piece, and I SO appreciate your support for Fred and Zorphbert… er, Zorphbert and Fred!

Ken Drab makes this charmingly off-the-wall strip called Rick the Stick.… featuring… well, a stick-man named Rick, who is both extraordinary, mediocre and crazy, all the same time. Goofy antics galore!

BookPromo

Why buy something you can read online for free, you ask? Well, for the bonus material! And this book is jam-packed with it! See original sketches from pre-2007, get a full tour through my process as a cartoonist, and even a how-to tutorial of how to draw Zorphbert and Fred! Each and every strip even has an artist comment (yeah, that would be me). I really wanted to make this book worth your while to purchase, and hopefully rank high enough to reside happily next to “the throne”– where we all know the quality reading is done.

You can pick up the book itself– signed by yours truly– for $20 (and that includes shipping!),

….or you can go all out and get the special “Artist’s Addition” for $25, which includes:

  • Signature
  • Character sketch of your choosing (notate in field below)
  • Z&F bookmark!
