Todays guest piece is from brand new friend Bill Charbonneau, creator ofย “Small Market Sports”. I heard he was looking for some guest art himself (congrats again on the new baby!), so I submitted a piece that was in the works for a while- a Lebron James comic. It was a hit!
I love his stylistic take on Z&F, tho I will play it safe and NOT throw anything at my in-laws, LOL. Awesome to see his guys could make an appearance during their busy schedule… especially Carter the baseball.

Dawn and Rick, whom the human characters in Z&F are loosely based around, are (finally) getting married after 7 years together, on November 6th, 2010. These terrific guest strips and artwork were submitted as a wedding gift by fellow webcomic creators and readers, using Dawn’s Wedding Guest Art Registry. Dawn.. erm, OKAY, I am very grateful for all the time and effort put into these awesome pieces and plan to include them in a special section of our wedding album. Thank you all SO much … for such a unique wedding experience.. and for feeding my website so I can take a much needed break!
Regular Z&F strips will return on Christmas Day! My holiday gift to you, readers ;0)
Great find…following you on Twitter now Bill.
it’s my 2 favorite things in one place: sports and comics!!!
That is great. Fred when you are done throwing those at the in-laws would you mind if I borrowed them for mine. ๐ Nah, I kid. Fortunately I have good in-laws…now.
Bill, you did a great job on the guest strip for today.
Have to say I’m pretty lucky, my In-Laws are pretty cool people. No need to throw sporting goods at them ;0)
I love these guest strips. It is a great way for me to find new comics. It is gettin’ closer Dawn and in case I haven’t said it (you know I bordering on being senile) I wish you and Rick all the best.
aww, thanks Bo. Yup, we are just about 10 days away.. and basically finished with planning. Now I have to sit and twiddle my thumbs and try to remain calm, LOL
Lol, that’s one way of looking at it.
Cool cartoon drawing
That was great! I love Bill’s inking style and line work.
Thanks for the kind words, folks. Much appreciated! ๐
