Another wonderful member of the webcomics community, who is busy on twitter, and always willing to do tons of guest art for other creators, Roland Perez of Z&G (Zombie and Ghost) is everywhere! With the popularity of Zombies in pop culture, and the influx of all the spin-off Ghost Hunting TV shows, I think Roland has got it covered with Z&G. I’d also like to salute Roland personally, for he is a member of the US Navy!
This guest panel comic is an adorable take on how American TV reflects on society… and how it can be really confusing to naive and easily mislead aliens! Love the tie-in with the spaceship too, very clever Roland! Thank you!

Dawn and Rick, whom the human characters in Z&F are loosely based around, are (finally) getting married after 7 years together, on November 6th, 2010. These terrific guest strips and artwork were submitted as a wedding gift by fellow webcomic creators and readers, using Dawn’s Wedding Guest Art Registry. Dawn.. erm, OKAY, I am very grateful for all the time and effort put into these awesome pieces and plan to include them in a special section of our wedding album. Thank you all SO much … for such a unique wedding experience.. and for feeding my website so I can take a much needed break!
Regular Z&F strips will return on Christmas Day! My holiday gift to you, readers ;0)
Very clever indeed Roland. This is awesome sir, you did a wonderful job. I used to love watching the Honeymooners re-runs growing up, such a cool tie in, and definitely a situation I could see Fred and Zorphbert in as they try to become more and more familiar with earth culture.
have to admit I’m a little young for the Honeymooners, not that I’m clueless. Actually, I am recalling the “to the moon” jokes from looney tunes cartoons where a mouse couple did a parody of the Honeymooners show.
That’s sad, huh? LOL
Doing this guest strip was fun fun fun! I love the characters and I used to watch the re-runs of Honeymooners myself growing up and thought it would fit nicely with a comic involving aliens. Guest strips to me are fun cause it forces me out of my comfort zone and to push myself. Thank you Dawn for allowing me to use your characters to try and make you laugh.
well, gee… glad I pushed you out of your comfort zone! HAHAHA… jk, I know it’s an excellent exercise and I’m glad my characters are fun to draw! Thank YOU!
Great job, Roland! A fun gag well-drawn and lovely color palette.
Indeed!
LOL… “To the moon Alice.”
works so well, right?
Great Job Roland….Next you’ll have to do a zombie fred and a ghost Zorphbert.
Oooooo… love to see THAT!
