I first met Marc and discovered his comic “Boxcar Astronaut” at the first New England Webcomics Weekend. I adore Marc’s style and I could not wait to see how he drew my guys! As expected, I luuuuurve what he came up with! But I have to mention, my floorplan for the guest seating was SPEC-TAC-U-LAR… a full scale model made in Illustrator, it blew away our DJ, Photographer, and Coordinator! I am SUCH a dork.
Now, Marc is the mastermind behind the creepily hilarious and quirky “Spooky Doofus”, one of my favorites and it should be one of yours!
P.S. Because Marc is doubly-awesome, he ALSO whipped up this masterpiece a while back.. during one of his daily sketches he posts on twitter. All my favorite webcomics characters, zombie-a-fied! Can you name them all?

Dawn and Rick, whom the human characters in Z&F are loosely based around, are (finally) getting married after 7 years together, on November 6th, 2010. These terrific guest strips and artwork were submitted as a wedding gift by fellow webcomic creators and readers, using Dawn’s Wedding Guest Art Registry. Dawn.. erm, OKAY, I am very grateful for all the time and effort put into these awesome pieces and plan to include them in a special section of our wedding album. Thank you all SO much … for such a unique wedding experience.. and for feeding my website so I can take a much needed break!
Regular Z&F strips will return on Christmas Day! My holiday gift to you, readers ;0)
HA! Excellent, Marc 🙂 I wonder if Dawn had a slight panic attack when she got this strip? 😉
ha ha, actually… I had RELIEF that I didn’t attempt this with little slips of paper. I have a clumsy dog myself.
Marc, you definitely have a very awesome and unique drawing style. This is totally awesome, the last panel is a very cool panel, the light coming in, the silhouette with her arms in anger thrown to the heavens…great job.
Marc’s the best for sure, and he must have got that way by all the sketches he does… I marvel at that kind of devotion. I also love how he treats the backgrounds- simple yet adds so much.
Nice! Marc did an amazing all around job on this one.
