Through the power of twitter, I got live-time updates on this piece from the creator, which was fun and very telling of the person who graciously decided to sign up for my guest art registry. I know how much effort was put into the idea, into drawing my characters and getting a feel for their structure, and I also got to know this person a little better…. which is always a warm fuzzy for me, a lover of the webcomic community.
Jande Rowe of “Aedre’s Firefly” and e-orbits.com tackled the old superstition that the bride has to wear something old, new, borrowed and blue, and added a humorous twist! (adding aliens into the mix always makes it funny). I’m not one for superstitions, so I’m not abiding by this myself… but maybe if I wear a pair of Browns undies under my garb, they’ll win the Superbowl! ya think? yeah, me neither. LOL!
Thanks Jande!

Dawn and Rick, whom the human characters in Z&F are loosely based around, are (finally) getting married after 7 years together, on November 6th, 2010. These terrific guest strips and artwork were submitted as a wedding gift by fellow webcomic creators and readers, using Dawn’s Wedding Guest Art Registry. Dawn.. erm, OKAY, I am very grateful for all the time and effort put into these awesome pieces and plan to include them in a special section of our wedding album. Thank you all SO much … for such a unique wedding experience.. and for feeding my website so I can take a much needed break!
Regular Z&F strips will return on Christmas Day! My holiday gift to you, readers ;0)
Looks awesome Jande, you did a great job. I love how they pinned it to the brides train like Fred’s sock.
HA! Great work.
Fantastic! Jande, you did an exemplary job on this, very creative! 😀
Just hope you don’t get too excited and end up with Brown undies. haha
Great job Jande!
Thanks Guys! and thanks Dawn, for the opportunity to try something completely new and show my appreciation for you and your creations.
I don’t know how I missed this. Fantastic Job Jande. (As usual)
