For the Grand Finale before I return with my “own” Z&F strips, I hope you enjoy this AWESOMETASTIC storyline my good buddy Chris Flick of “Capes and Babes” cranked out! TWO strips Monday through Thursday, and a SURPRISE on Friday, followed by the Big Return on Saturday! wow!
I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Convention Pro himself at last year’s Baltimore Comic Con. Chris is a master of maxing out comic con and getting the most out of it… with commissions, an excellent booth set-up, and friendly charm to boot. I have learned a lot from him. His comic “Capes and Babes” is a plethora of goofy storylines, pop culture & technology gags, all tied up in a strip mall and the bow on top is the Werewolf (yes, Werewolf) named Roy. So, why not go check it out and follow Chris on twitter while you’re at it.

Dawn and Rick, whom the human characters in Z&F are loosely based around, are (finally) getting married after 7 years together, on November 6th, 2010. These terrific guest strips and artwork were submitted as a wedding gift by fellow webcomic creators and readers, using Dawn’s Wedding Guest Art Registry. Dawn.. erm, OKAY, I am very grateful for all the time and effort put into these awesome pieces and plan to include them in a special section of our wedding album. Thank you all SO much … for such a unique wedding experience.. and for feeding my website so I can take a much needed break!
Regular Z&F strips will return on Christmas Day! My holiday gift to you, readers ;0)

Dawn, thanks so much for such a wonderful write-up. I somehow should have included in the first strip that the K-Mart Christmas commercial was actually playing a few WEEKS before THANKSGIVING!!! LOL!
Oh, and you humble me oh-so-much with your “Mr. Convention Pro” tag. I am truly honored. Some day soon, I would very much would like for you to make me my own laminated “Mr. Convention Pro” badge so I can Make Tyler James – who I think really IS “Mr Convention Pro” way more so than I am – insanely jealous!
LOL!
Thanks again for such a great write-up. I am truly honored.
You’re very welcome, Chris… I had so much fun hanging with you both times in Baltimore, I now look forward to that con every year! So many peeps I know attend or exhibit at that con, it’s awesome.
Tyler, being one of them…. and also an AWESOME guy as well. Love his work, and the 30-day character challenge is a great way to unite the community.
Thanks again for this super treat… never expected an entire STORY ARC!
Chris has always been a top-notch entertainer. Nice work, Chris! 😀
