We humans have a really hard time empathizing on the spot, when we are so often stuck inside our own heads. Be it when dealing with frustrations when driving, or grasping the nuances of politics or religion, or just trying to get through the day. In this case, the male owner doesn’t even see his own hypocrisy as he drives along– moment to moment, he assumes himself in the “right”. Good thing Fred is there to redefine “self-righteousness” in his typically adorable way.
Fun Fact: My husband Rick owns a PT Cruiser. Hence I used that model for the car drawing.
