I think we all have days like this. Hey, how about you take a few extra seconds and DIGG this comic? Don’t be lazy, help a gal out!
As I am typing this, Game 6 of the world series has just begun, and I am nervous as hell. Go Phils. Please.
Tomorrow marks 1 year until our wedding day: 11-06-2010. We already have the venue, caterer, and a coordinator who’s a big help (and stress relief), so I say we’re in pretty good shape. Monday is our dating anniversary, and over the weekend we plan to visit the venue, take pictures, and then go out to eat at the diner where we met in person for the first time (we’re a product of Internet dating). November is a good month for us ;0)
Love the cobwebs!
Thanks! They were a last minute touch actually.
One year!! Dun-dun-dun… It’ll go by so freakin’ fast you won’t know what hit you. I got married in 1982… it was yesterday to me.
Nice touch with the dialog! Totally what we do too around here “No, you get it!”
🙂
Everyone says the same thing.. it’s creepy up on your so FAST! hopefully my coordinator will keep us on pace to get everything done.
Consider this comic Dugg!
Thanks so much Ed! You rock!
Happy Dating Anniversary and get ready for one fast year. My wife and I have been married for 10 years and it has flown by. I still remember getting things together for our wedding, you talk about a whirlwind year.
The strip today is so typical, once we get settled in it literally takes an act of God to move us.
Well bummer about the Phils, at least they kept it going to Game 6 and it wasn’t a Yankee landslide.
Thanks man. Let’s hope the typical american laziness doesn’t affect our wedding planning!
Yeah, glad the Phils at least made a series of it. Well, to quote the new motto around here: “That’s what 200+million can buy ya!” Helllllloo salary cap? My Indians would like to not be a farm system anymore, too.
That’s taking laid back to a new level.
Congrats on the year. I met my wife in March and we were married in June and we had the preacher and four other people at the wedding. We celebrated our 38th anniversary this year and it has been a sweet ride. We are in it for the long haul.
I hope yours works out as well.
wow, you guys worked fast! and kept it simple. We intended to keep things simple, but it never works out that way. I guess a 100-guest, not-going-bankrupt wedding is considered “plain & simple” these days anyway.
Thanks for your best wishes! and congrats on 38 years! you’re an inspiration.
Let’s see.
Happy Anniversary
Happy Wedding Preversary
and Happy Birthday in case that one is in there too.
well, I’ll pass that Happy Birthday on to my fiance, that is coming up as well. This time of year is NUTS. Thanks!!!
Happy Anniversary Dawn!
much thanks Brogan!
Luckily for whomever I might marry, food is the ultimate motivator to me. I’ll be opening the door for the pizza man before he even gets to the doorbell!
we women are taught from an early age that keeping your man happy (ie: not a pain in our arse) involves good cooking or money spent on good cooks. Needless to say, we go out to eat a lot. ;0)
Even Fred’s affected? It’s like a terrible laziness disease. The opposite of the Rage virus.
the culprit: daytime TV. oh yeah, and that nagging No-Job thing.
you have been dugg
sweet! much thanks dude.
Hahaha! I feel wonderfully lethargic just reading this one. Nice! Congrats on the upcoming nuptials, too. My 1st wedding anniversary is next month, and my wife and I are so excited. Married life will treat you right, Dawn! 🙂
Thanks George! A pre-congrats on your one year! Does it go by as fast as the wedding planning year apparently does? lol
oh man, i’m feeling that right now
I’m tellin’ ya, it’s contagious!
I’m feeling a bit lethargic now myself. 😉 Awesome spiderwebs!
heh, thanks Dave… funny how last-minute decisions sometimes are the best thing about your creation.
Funny Dawn, I have conversations like this with my wife on many occasions! 😀
