As you can see, I often take from my own life experiences to write Z&F. C2E2 in Chicago was awesome, and featured all of these great costumes! Hopefully you were able to swing by and check out the pictures as I posted them throughout the weekend. Keep an eye out here tomorrow for a special photo blog post, and later for a “Tips & Tricks” on Conventions!
Love your tubby spidey.
hee hee, thanks!
I wonder what the washing instructions are like on some of those costumes … a Ninja Turtle one day might become a Yoda the next! 🙂
with how hot it can get at conventions, I’d rather burn the costume and make a new one.. pfew!
Guys in tights kind of freak me out too.
I think that goes for all (hetero) men, LOL.
Ha! Men in tights.
Robin Hood MIT is a guilty pleasure movie of mine ;0)
I can never get my Darth Vader helmet to fit right either. I totally sympathize with that guy (gal)!
I’d imagine they’d be super uncomfortable…. and sweaty.
That is great. I love the “Weird Kid finally found his herd” line from Fred, great stuff. Man, check out Zelda, now that’s keepin’ it real fo shizzle. I would have to say the costume that bothers me the most is the Rabbit one. 🙂
There was actually a fuzzy white rabbit wandering around. A tad on the ghetto side. Out of place… but I figured, I wanted to make this storyline a basic recap of my experience.. may as well be honest! Rabits and all!
You forgot the Robin, Mojo, Female Iron-man or rather Iron Man 2 dancer… couldn’t figure out which one she was…
Did you get a chance to meet any of the Marvel Bullpen?
looks like you’re having a great time at the con. I dig your Spidey! 🙂
LOL! “Herd” Yeah, that’s what it was alright! A big friendly herd with cash.
Nice series you got going! Love the Yoda hat on Zorph… 🙂
The guy with the red cape in the middle looks familiar, but I don’t remember his name
