More of the random weird things that we humans do. During a time where our bills get out of hand, we manage to find more ways to spend spend spend! And then there’s New Years resolutions, to vow to save money.

I will go without a refrigerator before I go without Christmas decorations in December!
damn, now that’s dedication!
Well, a few lights here and there won’t kill the electricity bill, but if it’s all over the house….
We have lights on the inside and outside, but compared to most, it’s nothing. I don;t see that much of a spike in the bill…. at least not outside of our heater from the friggin’ 1800’s, or whatever.
So true.
ain’t it? Thanks for swinging by
Keeping up with the jones’! Lights ho!
we SHOULD do is just burn down the Jones’ house.
Tis the Season for Charging. 🙂 It’s easy to get swept away during the Holidays, guess they’ll just have to charge and hold out and see what Uncle Sam gives back to ’em. Buy Now pay after April…YEAH!!!
ah. the American way! LOL
Similar situation in my homefront: just got the heater working after years of disuse, and now the gas bill is probably going to be off the scale come the end of the month.
We are a sad, silly species, as the alien pups probably have noticed.
yup, thus the theme of this comic! Good luck with your heater, ours is way outdated. Thus my vast collection of thick wool socks.
Don’t forget we eat eat eat and then make a resolution to lose weight during the same time period.
damn, there goes my New Years’ comic! LOL, jk.. I did something similar last year based on that same thought.
Something about decorating for Christmas seems to bring out the light freak in people…lol…I have an agreement with my wife…I decorate for Halloween, she decorates for Christmas…but for some odd reason, for Halloween, I am the most decorated house on the block, Christmas, we have stuff out, but the neighbors seem to be saying, “sure, take THAT! Boo-ya!” and go overboard for it.
that’s a good deal! and like you, I don’t mess around on Halloween either– I got donut holes, hot apple cider, candy, and some random decorations… but that’s nothing compared to what my mom used to set up back in the day.
My prized piece for Xmas is the Leg Lamp! All hail Christmas Story!
hahaha. so true!
*shakes head* LOL, thanks!
