Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Hope itโs a warm, safe and fullFILLING one!
It was a tradition for my parents to give their dog the turkey giblets for dinnerโฆ as nauseating as it seems to us humans (an apparently aliens too). I canโt seem to bring myself to follow up with this tradition. My dog will get a special rawhide to gnaw on all evening ;0)
Happy Gobble Gobble to you and yours Dawn!
Thanks Frank, same to you! (and yours)… albeit belated.
Happy Thanksgiving to you, too, Dawn! ๐
woo woo! It was very “happy”, and filling.
I’m Canadian, we did this back in October. That way we’re not just recovering as Christmas arrives. Canadians think ahead. ๐ But I digress; Tommy Turkey is obviously cannibalistic. Somebody break the news to Fred that if a turkey dresses up as a hungry pilgrim, it’s not a well turkey.
you Canadians do it right! I assume you also do not commercialize cannibalistic mascots you later eat for dinner. Ahhh. America!
kujos to scott, that made me snort chocklate milk ๐
could have been turkey and cranberry sauce. That never feels too good on the sinuses.
Hey, there ain’t nothin’ wrong with giblets. Great job with the color.
Thank you!
Happy Belated Thanksgiving to you, too, Dawn!
(repeating myself here) Thank you!
You didn’t mention, Dawn, whether your parents’ dog seems to enjoy said giblets, or if the reaction is closer to Zorphbert’s.
heh, please. This is a DOG we’re talking about. Give him a stinky sock and he’s happy. But to answer your question, YES, the dog enjoyed the giblets. Much to my disgust.
Hope you had a crazy Happy Thanksgiving! I’m still not sure what giblets are, but I’m also sure I don’t want to know. ๐
Y’know that stuff you throw away from inside the turkey? yeah.
Hope you had a great holiday as well!
