As I teased in the LAST FANART POST, Chris Ciancanelli is at it again with another fun addition to his cereal parody theme. Weird-o’s! Brilliant! It makes so much sense, I am surprised it doesn’t actually exist already (sans Weird Kid & sock puppet). Thanks to Chris for another job well done! And I hear there may be another one on the way!
We are approaching the final month of this FANART CHALLENGE, folks! The cereal Box Theme runs until May 31st, so hurry up and get your entries in! Head over HERE for the info. Once June hits, we’ll begin voting on the best entry!
Philly-Area Z&F Fans! A Craft Fair Appearance NEXT Weekend!
As I am trying to exhibit at more craft/book/art fairs locally, I stumbled on this little one within 10 minutes of my house! I’ll have my Z&F volumes and Abby’s Adventures kids books, along with other fun merch. If you wanted a more chill atmosphere to meet me and purchase some great all-ages comics, this would be it! Come on out and support indie artists and craft people in the Philly area!
The Low-Down:
Saturday, May 4, 2013 • 9:00 am – 3:00 pm
(Rain Date Sunday, May 5)
Held in the municipal parking lot next to PNC Bank, 30 North Lansdowne Ave.

When you open up the voting, I suggest that you disallow the participants from voting on their own submissions. If we vote on our own submissions, it’s poor public relations. If we vote against our own submissions, we’re degrading our own work. If the rule is in effect that we can’t vote for our own submissions anyway, the burden is off of our chests.
good point Rainey. Not sure I can technically set up the voting system to work that way, but I’ll try my best to stress it in the post. Either entrants cannot vote at all, or cannot vote on their own piece… hrmm..
