… and I have a little secret… Chris isn’t done! There’s MORE cereal boxes on the way, one of which I have seen and it’s quite possibly even better than THIS one!
Chris Ciancanelli is one of my old-time readers from way back in my drunkduck.com days. I even remember his off-color-yet-hilarious comic “Confetti Surprise”, and a little birdie told me he may be at it again soon. Like I have said in the past, I do love the little details, and Chris definitely added a few of his own. “Faker” instead of “Quaker”? Brilliant! Being a package designer (my day job) I love to see the tribute/parody to the much-beloved Captain Crunch Berries. Just WAIT til you see the next one. I may post it Wednesday! Thanks so much Chris for partaking in my little experiment/Challenge, hope you had fun making this!

Exciting News!
I’ll be releasing a fancypants professional press release about this soon, but since you all are so special, you get the news here first. Remember that piece I contributed to the Team Cul De Sac Book for Parkinson’s research? Well, that very book is now officially NOMINATED for an EISNER AWARD, in the “Comics-Related Book” category! How fantastic is that?!! I could be a contributor to an Eisner-Award-Winning Anthology! Fingers crossed, baby.

I really dig the “Faker Oates” logo in the top left corner. Nice touch. 🙂
Roy’s gonna have a a hard time deciding which cereal he wants to eat every morning… LOL!
Yes, if someone can blend werewolves and aliens, we may have the best cereal ever made!
Thanks for the kind words! Nurf Berry Crunch is actually a parody of the old “Smurf Berry Crunch” cereal. And Planet Nurf was referenced a few times by Z & F in the earlier comics. Continuity!
AHHHHHH! THAT’S what it was referencing! I recognized the logo but it didn’t look like Crunch Berries, I thought I was crazy. I totally forgot about Smurf Berries. GREAT idea, combining it with NURF (which, yes, is Z&F’s home planet)! This makes this ever better :0) sorry you had to explain it, Chris.. I hate when that happens.
I’m assuming everyone else got it, right?? I’m the oblivious one, as usual?
Faker Quaker…nice touch
