Honestly, if you don’t get the urge to air-drum out that fill towards the end of “Calling in the Air Tonight”, you need to check your pulse. I don’t care how cheesy 80’s music was, how high Phil Collins ranked on the dork-meter.
Oh, you have the song in your head now? You’re welcome. Go bang on something.
YES! DRUM SOLO!
Badadadabumbumbadadabum bum bum!
Fred + Fire…. smart move Zorphbert.
LOL, true!
They don’t do drum solos like they used to…
yup, John Bonham comes to mind….
I think Kieth Moon was probably my favorite drum-wise!
good pick!
I prefer the drums in ‘YYZ’. YEAH! (The live version of this song in ‘Exit… Stage Left has an unreal drum solo)
had to google it, but yeah…. can’t go wrong with Rush!
I feel dirty for watching a Cadbury’s commercial. Even though it was really funny…
LOL! can’t go wrong with monkeys on drums.
Love it. The official title is “In the Air Tonight,” though. MEGA Props to the “EXIT STAGE LEFT” drum solo! First real drum solo that blew my mind. I actually cleared and shut down a bar in Virginia with that 7 minute opus via jukebox (back when you could play any track off the CD hehehe)
figures you’d correct me on the title there, Greg, LOL!
It’s the only Phil Collins song I have on my iPhone, and I still love it.
THE ONLY PHIL COLLINS SONG? What about “Easy Lover?” “Rain Down On Me?” “I Can’t Dance?” “Invisible Touch?” “Against All Odds?” “Land of Confusion?” (I’m including Genesis songs, Phil took over that band anyway)
oh… I do like Genesis actually. I need to get a best hits or something. Yeah the other Phil Collins songs I’ve heard/remember aren’t my thing… sorry to disappoint Greggy-poo! :0P
