Major hailstorm in my area sunday. Outta no where. Took down our gutter. It was insane.
Anyway, just as forwarning, I’m thinking of making some major overhaul changes to this comic, particularly the art style. I think I need to push myself more, get out of my rut. I have been drawing Z&F the same way for over a year now, it’s time for a change, don’t you think? I may just try this with the next update, so be prepared!
This came out really well. The way you make the storyline coordinate with the seasons reminds me of how newspapers strips used to be. I can definitely tell you’ve done your homework.

lol It’s so true! I live in the southern U.S. and the weather around this time is always crazy. One day it will be overcast and in the 50’s and 60’s and the next it will be like 80 degrees. Anyway, great strip and can’t wait to see the next update. 🙂
Does the new art style include full frontal nudity? I find that makes everything better. Except retirement homes and the rodeo.
Carlisle: actually, I’m just writing about what happened over the weekend, LOL. It fueled this strip, and well timed too.
Bob: I think it’s crazy all over, global warming, or whatever. We dont get spring here. We get rain, hail, thunderstorms, crisp dreary days and then BAM ….summer.
James: alien nudity? hmm.. well, that may actually be okay with my PG rating. But not retirement homes or rodeo. Now that’s just crazy talk.
This is a funny page. I like the second panel with the magnifying glass. The sound effects of the rain is really cool too. Keep up the good work.
Haha! I really likes this ‘un I does! 🙂
