Well, I had to update it for today’s audience (even tho the original movies are HOW old? sheesh). I would say this is very fitting for my husband Rick, as he does love Star Wars, but he also has far more taste in terms of what to show off in the front window, LOL.
Read The Holiday Special from the start by clicking the image below!
Love that expression in the last panel.
heheh, one of my favorite to draw. The speechless annoyed pout.
I’d have no problem showing that off in the front window…. why give the lamp the attention?! [ give it a minute to sink in]
goof, lol :0)
Ha! Nice twist on the holiday classic. Man, a Slave Leigh Lamp, now to start my search for my own. 🙂 Love how the chain is the power cord, you can tell a classy work of art by how they integrate every part into it that way. Take down the Christmas tree, we have something else needing to utilize the space in that front window. Oh and just in case I bought a case of crazy glue, lamps of this caliber seem to bring freak accidents in their wake.
mannn, if only I knew a lamp designer, we’d go in on this and get filthy rich! Thanks Todd :0)
I like how you updated it with a movie that came out six months before A Christmas Story.
ha, I never even thought of that! So, in a weird way it’s topical!
It’s an award… it’s a… bust…
Yeah…
well, you are correct 2 times there, for what it’s worth
