I love Apple and all, but my “crowd” is so easy to pick on. For a group that wants so hard to not fit in and be individualistic…. they kinda all look the same anyway. That said, I love my chucks and my hair style is “in” now so I have been told. Uh-oh.
This little iPad story has become a bigger iPad story. See how it all started by going HERE.
If they were geniuses, they would figure out how not to make me wait in line to talk to someone when I am just trying to purchase something that they had on hold for me.
man, I hear you on that!
For sure! I decided to purchase my apple products in authorized apple resellers that aren’t apple stores. I get better customer service, and I don’t have to wait in line.
I’ve never been inside an Apple Store, but from what I’ve heard about them, I’d be so afraid too. I’ve heard you’ve really gotta know your stuff when you set foot in there. 🙂
ehhh, kind of. I have seen plenty of little workshops going on for middle-aged wives who just got iPad and have no idea what to do with it. My mom likes to go to those, and then surprise the “geniuses” with her knowledge by asking some complex question, as opposed to “How do I turn it on?” LOL!
The key really, is finding an off-time, so there’s only like 100 people in there rather than 500.
More power to your Mom! I’ve always wanted to take advantage of one of those workshops, but from my experience in putting on workshops for other computer programs/software at the library, those usually start with the basics and the “how do you turn this on” people resent the ones asking the advanced questions. 🙁
Yeah, they may be geniuses, but their customer support SUCKS. I had to talk to THREE people before someone could figure out how to resend me my QuickTime Pro registration number. It wasn’t on the INVOICE which they kept telling me to look up. Hello? McFly? So… yeah, not happy. 🙂
I’ll buy an iPad when Apple invents iCustomer Service.
May be the uniform? 🙂
