Hopefully the joke here is apparent and you guys get it. May be one of those jokes that is funny only in my head. And by funny I mean kinda sad and scary….

The more the merrier?
lets hope so, cuz there’s only gonna be MORE.
The UN says population growth will eventually slow down at stop, but probably won’t shrink. The question is when
I’m just praying the Mayans were right.
where’s a good Tool quote when you need one? ;0)
It’s billion! For 7 trillion we’d need several hundred other planets merely to be able to have space to stand!
…unless you’re not being an American and using the long scale, in which case we’d need several thousand more
ohhhh no. you’re right. d’oh, I’ll fix that ASAP.
It was funny, after I looked up the Duggar’s. Somehow I have managed to avoid knowing about them until now.
Ugh! I didn’t know who the Duggars were either, until I looked them up. The more I learn about humans, the more I realize that most of us are just barely standing outside the cave entrance :-/
Pretty sure we’ll get to Soylent Green before we get to 7 trillion!
I love a good Soylent Green reference in the morning! And while I don’t watch that show or shows on that channel, I know of the Duggars for the same reason I know about the Kardashians (yes, I said the “k” word), Jersey Shore, and any other scary “pop culture phenomenon” – I watch the biting commentary on clip show The Soup.
I also had to look up Dugger. But to be fair I rarely watch TV. I went to the first page, and saw the banner, and was sickened right away. Sigh. Really? That’s really on TV? I’m just going to close my browser right now and eat some ice cream.
Dawn, I love this strip – it pokes fun in such a way that people might be reminded of logic’s place in the world.
Ah, the Duggars. I think of it as the first step to “Idiocracy.”
Don’t know who the Duggars are, but I assume it’s like Octomom, and the strip was evident enough that I didn’t need to look up the family (hooray!) I was having a conversation with my friend tonight (I’m 33, she’s 23) where we agreed that if we wanted children, we would adopt. I guess it stems from living in NYC, where space is at a premium if you don’t earn 6 figures.
