okay okay, I have beat you over the head with this message enough. Kids, play with whatever toys & watch whatever cartoons you want to… don’t let the big bad corporations dictate what you SHOULD like. Parents, don’t fret over your little boy who likes My Little Pony or your little girl who plays with Thundercats, rarely do what they play with as kids indicate how they’ll mature into adults. Got it? Good.
Hitting a BIG landmark soon, folks. Keep your eyes peeled for something special.
Oh no… Don’t tell me we’re about to lose 2 excellent, upstanding members of the “No Kid Fun Club….”
LOL what makes you say that?
“BIG Landmark,” rarely translates to something less than that. Either that or maybe one of the humans finally notices the antennae stickin out their disguises? hahaha, you got ME in suspense, I know that! 🙂
well, hate to lower expectations, but the LANDMARK has to do with Z&F specifically, and it has to do with NUMBERS. Hint hint.
I think I’ll be hanging out with the male Owner when I come to visit Z&F. Â I love me some Thundercats by I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, me some Star Wars.
Zorphberts line in that last panel is awesome.
I think this storyline has something for all types of geeks. A finale with Star Wars? can’t beat that.
I agree. The finale in Star Wars is the greatest movie ending, in the history of movies.
We’re not hung up on the gender roles in our house… I’m actually a househubby!
I have to say that since they really didn’t have the cartoon tie ins with the toys when I was really little, I worked my imagination by re-purposing toys to fit into whatever game I was playing. I think it did help me to be more creative as an adult.
that would definitely help the ol’ creative gears! I recall doing the same thing… or like Calvin, turning a plain old cardboard box into a masterpiece that would open up other realms of my imagination. When my parents got a new fridge, MAN I had fun with that box until it was soggy mess after a monsoon. and even then….. had fun until Mom told me to stop it. LOL
I liked Star Wars, but if someone would have told me it would still be a big deal after all of this time, I’d have said they were crazy. Â I wasn’t surprised at the first 2 sequels, but the rest of them were a surprise. Â Pity the Male Owner wasn’t watching a bootleg of the Star Wars Holiday Special. Â
there’s…… there’s a Star Wars holiday special? My husband never mentioned this!
The Star Wars Holiday special is below the “so bad it’s good” threshold. I guess if you mention it to your wife you can’t consider yourself a “true” Star Wars fan anymore
I think I’m in the same club as the husband
May the force live long and prosper
*brain implodes* don’t cross the streams dude! One geek reference at a time!
