Not only is the first time, but it’s definitely not the way that the first conversation would be envisioned going down. That boys gonna be in some trouble for watching MLP on her TV…oh and the breaking in thing too. 🙂
Now let’s see if the Weird Kid spills the beans about Zorphbert and Fred. Of course we know the owner will take it as a kid’s wild imagination.
you got it Todd, there’s a reason only the “fringe” people have the ability to “see” the aliens in their dog suits…. so the rest of humanity can just write them off as lunatics. Like Charlie Sheen.
ahhh… getting off the roof…it’s a step, bit a BIG one, for Weird Kids everywhere.
Hrm. I used to get a thrill out of jumping off my garage roof (much to my mom’s horror). Is that a bad sign?
Well, I didn’t really follow Zorphbert and Fred recently, but then I saw the MLP-comic… guess this comic is back in my “check twice a week” pile of webcomics.
In case you wanted to see other webcomics that have My Little Pony in it: Here’s a little list I try to keep up to date, there are 88 more or less known webcomics in it https://docs.google.com/document/d/18tFbR1_Sp0-8CeJ4wDoaZR3wCrHjnB0ITf7uaZ8WYUA/edit?hl=en_US
hi Acriaos, nice to meet ya! Thanks for giving Z&F the bi-weekly upgrade! While I cannot guarentee MLP in every comic from here on out, I know a lot of fans of the show ALSO enjoy the wacky adventures of Z&F as they leave no stone unturned on our planet. I’ll take a look-see at your list– wonder if any of my creator friends are on there, and what they have done with MLP!
I first heard about this Bronie trend a couple of months ago. I saw a girl go to a comic convention dressed as My Little Pony, but was a little too sexy (for that costume) in my opinion. I didn’t really think much of it other than just someone trying to sex up a costume for a comic con. Nothing strange there. A few weeks later someone told me about the Bronie trend and how there is a strong sub culture within the Bronies that include some rather WEIRD reddit topics. The less I say the better, but to have a boy watching My Little Pony is somewhat tame, and probably not all that weird. I’ve never seen MLP, but I was a huge Powerpuff Girl fan, so maybe it’s similar in that sense that some girl cartoons have aspect that could attract guys. After all, my sister used to watch EVERY cartoon I would watch. Nothing odd about that. But a boy watching a girls cartoon is, unfortunately, questionable.
Man, Zorphbert and Fred is turning into a real dog and pony show.
heh, well at least for now. They gotta research everything on this planet!

At least he wasn’t on the roof (like the neighborhood weird kid we had when I was in Florida).

I know a kid just like him. The weirder he acts, the more you just accept his behavior as gospel and the way it is. 🙂
a good rule to live by. Live and Let Weird Kids Be Weird.

Soap, $5.99. The look on female owner’s face upon seeing The Weird Kid sitting on her couch, priceless.
I’m going to bet right now that she gets sucked into it
