I learned this the hard way. Apple actually installs water sensors so if you drown your i-device, the sensors will tattle on you. However, after I managed to run my iPhone through the washer, I got lucky and an Apple “Genius” took pity on my soul and got me a replacement anyway. It’s all about getting the right genius in the right mood.
This little iPad story has become a bigger iPad story. See how it all started by going HERE.
Jeff Dunham will be highly offended… 🙂
heh true, I had thought about him when I was drawing this. Like, “wait… it IS cool again. blast!”
There are websites that actually sale the water sensor pads so that if you were to submerge your iPhone or iPad you can purchase these, and follow the instructions to take apart your device and replace the pads so that Apple Technicians can’t visually tell you had water damage. There’s always a sneak out there somewhere.
I love the 4th Panel with the uncomfortable Heh Heh exchange. This is a fun story arc, but I’m starting to worry for the duo, it won’t be long now before their owner comes home. Time to frame this on Nettika some how. 🙂
ha! I should have figured. I would buy those battery replacements, where they give you the tools to open the ipod yourself and replace the battery. Did that like 3 times with my first ipod.
It’s always better if you can frame it on the Diva next door ;0P
5 Days ago when I wrote: “Having a talking crotch before having a talking crotch was cool, now that’s a hipster!” I was only joking. I swear I have not bugged your studio. If you can draw me something that inspires me to guess the right six numbers, I’ll split it with you.
Oh, there’s more talking crotch in the future, friend. Keep in mind, these comics were actually done about a month ago, so despite your uncanny premonitions, I came up with this bizarre storyline all my lonesome. You can thank the Vodka :0)
Next time, don’t mention the water. : )
