Well, here’s a new way to “go green” and save cash on your electric bill.
Wait… is it really March already? Whoa. 2011 is 1/6th over already. At least spring is on its way.
Some News:
I added a new convention to my list for 2011– The Philadelphia Comic Con, which is not to be confused with Wizard World Philadelphia. This is a small 1-day convention, but it’s right in my neighborhood and the tables are very cheap if not free. If you’re in the area on April 3rd, try to stop by! Can’t beat $3 admission!
The next Z&F Collection is in the works! That’s right, the next 200 comics plus lots of extras and my own commentary! Will debut in Philly, probably at the Wizard World Comic Con, but if I pound this out as fast as I hope to… maybe even by the April 3rd show! And with that announcement comes the return of the Book Progress Meter! woo woo!
Is that a snuggie???
probably.
Ah, the cycle continues. 🙂 Not only is it a great way to go green and save some cash, it’s also a great way to stay in shape, definitely get’s the pulmonary system kicked in to gear.
Nice Snuggie. Fred sure looked comfortable for a while there. I’ve actually been guilty of saying to my wife when she complains about it being cold, “Just move around some and you’ll warm up.” and I usually get the same look from Panel 2. 🙂
heh, yeah Rick is usually bewildered as to why I’m cold all the time. This what happens when you have a bum thyroid. Other than that, this argument is total fabrication. I pay the electric bill, and Rick’s never paid off my credit card bill. Actually, it’s kinda sad that I made my character out to be such a money leech… it wasn’t on purpose.
Our thermostat is set at a cool 65 degrees F. When it can upward of $700 bucks a tank fill, you need to buck up and bundle up! Besides, I think my wife gets some odd pleasure in seeing me in varying shades of hypothermia! o.O
ours is usually at 68, but I swear that’s not correct. You have oil heating huh? Hrm, heard it works well, but yeah… the filling up must be a pain. We have gas… and a re-heally old heater. There in lies the problem.
Hypothermia color changes are hypnotizing, like lava lamps!
Unless you live in an urban area like Boston proper, a majority of New England is so old, we pre-date gas, so we don’t have it in these parts. Oil is our only real choice, well, except for the growing propane market. Problem w/ propane is that for every gallon of oil you burn, you burn a gallon and a half of propane. Only advantage is it burns cleaner and is somewhat cheaper, but not enough to convert from one to the other. My home burns about 750 gallons of home heating oil per year and at $3.40 gallon, that can get pricey per fill! o.O
