Entry #2 is “Bearman” of Bearman Cartoons. I think we can all agree Bearman nailed some of the charcaters that inspired Zorphbert & Fred. And what a funny take on this contest too, huh? Love twists!
Concerning the tagline above, I wouldn’t agree that Bearman is a “hack”. In fact, he uses pop culture, current events, and sometimes a healthy dose of goofiness, in the same way “non-hack” talented and insightful cartoonists do. His single panel ‘toons are totally worth a minute (or 10!) of your coffee break!
haha…thanks for the love. But when I forgo perspective, clean lines, coloring outside, poor shading, etc etc…I am still a hack. Maybe just less hacky than others.
But this one was alot of fun to do and I don’t think it turned out half bad.
That’s totally awesome!! Bearman is known to pull a rabbit outta his hat every now and then. Pretty good identity guess.
So would this be known as a Guess Strip? 🙂
I am also known to pull a booger out of my nose but we don’t like to talk about that.
