well, they kinda do, don’t they? Maybe not for Alex, but the Weird Kid’s heart is in the right place.
I think we’ve all had this inner conversation before, whether it be about love, or any circumstance that involves wearing your heart on your sleeve. Part of you wants to put up that fort to block the possible pain, the other part still has hope and courage.
‘sigh’ The liddle guy breaks my heart… Such a wonderful lesson in hope. You just have to cheer him on.

That’s right Weird Kid, don’t give up. In fact give her a heart shaped balloon, girls love those. You have to admit the boy is definitely worth rooting for.
